The Outerbanks has great opportunities for nature photography. The beach scenes are fantastic and the birdlife is plentiful. I addition, the lighthouses are outstanding landmarks that continue to provide aid to watermen. Images include American Avocets, Tricolored Herons, Great Egrets, Greater Yellowlegs, and Black Necked Stilts just to name a few.
